Online domestic violence classes (DVIT) in Washington State
Domestic Violence Intervention Treatment, Levels 1, 2 and 3, held live by Zoom for court-ordered and voluntary participants anywhere in Washington. DV assessments available online.
What DVIT is
Domestic Violence Intervention Treatment is a program for people who have used abusive or controlling behavior in a relationship. It focuses on accountability, understanding the beliefs and patterns behind harmful behavior, and building practical skills for safer, more respectful relationships.
Groups meet live on Zoom and are run in a structured, non-judgmental way. Participants are treated with respect while being held to a clear standard of change.
Who these online DV classes are for
- People ordered by a court, probation or the Department of Corrections to complete domestic violence classes
- People referred by an attorney, employer or family services
- Anyone who wants to change how they handle conflict, anger and control in relationships
DV assessment and Levels 1, 2 and 3
Every participant starts with a domestic violence assessment by Zoom. It looks at history, risk and needs, and sets the right level of treatment. Higher levels involve more sessions and closer monitoring. Your plan and progress can be documented for your court or probation officer with your written permission.
Court-ordered domestic violence classes
Courts set their own requirements, and some do not accept online classes. Before you enroll, ask your court, attorney or probation officer which programs they accept and whether online attendance is allowed, and bring that information to your assessment. We cannot guarantee any legal outcome.
What you need
- A private, quiet space and a phone, tablet or computer with Zoom
- Your court order or referral paperwork, if you have one
- Your probation officer's or caseworker's contact details and any deadlines
If you are experiencing abuse
